This second documentary using soldiers personal narrative and their own footage filmed in Afghanistan starts in 2006 with the first British soldiers sent into Sangin Helmand.This was some of the fiercest fighting the British Army had seen since Korea and was a massive wake up call.There was days of concerted Taliban attacks coordinated and sustained for months.this resulted in a massive Ariel bombing campaign just to stop the British Bases being overrun.the documentary then moves to 2009 with the Grenadier Guards on their tour of Afghanistan and the change in Taliban Tactics which resulted in IEDs sniper and ambushes being the preferred method of war.This film was filmed by a captain in the guards who filmed his soldiers through their tour and the affect of the death of one of their mates Guardsman Jamie Janes,who was killed by an IED.
