Mosque security video shows suicide bomber top left exploding, and the target circled red lower in screen fall over, although 29 others were killed. The second part of the clip shows amateur footage of the blood soaked area adjacent to the bomber.
This is Um AlQura Mosque in Baghdad. The likely target Sheikh Ahmed Abdul Gafur al-Samarraie survived, he is head of Sunni Endowment which stands against extremist factions in Iraq. Among the dead was Al-Fahdawi, a Sunni parliamentarian, also against extremism, who was previously targeted twice by AlQaeda in 2004 and 2005.
Suicide bombings did not occur in Iraq before the US invasion, and AlQaeda was unknown in Iraq before, and no weapons of mass destruction existed. Presumably Saddam Hussein would have fallen to the current Arab Uprisings had Iraq been left to its own course, and without foreign intervention would probably not have become a breeding ground for AlQaeda, and also would not have cost thousands of servicemen their lives and cost billions of tax dollars.
