Russia, France vow to preseve sovereignty of syria
Russia and France say they share the same goal in finding a solution to the Syrian crisis. During a meeting in Moscow on Thursday, Vladimir Putin and Francois Hollande said they wanted to preserve the sovereignty of Syria. However, there is a divide in how Russia and France want to resolve the situation in Syria. Russia has long insisted that Syrians should decide their own fate, while France favors Syria without Bashar al-Assad.
