Syrian Civil War: rebels claim to have shot down government warplane wit...

by JewishNewsOne

A Deputy Commander of the Free Syrian Army has confirmed the rebels shot down a government warplane in northern Syria using an anti-aircraft missile taken from plundered Syrian government supplies.

The announcement came just a day after amateur video showed Syrian rebel troops shooting down a military helicopter over the city of Daret Ezzeh, near Aleppo.

Meanwhile, at least 56 people have been confirmed dead and scores injured after four explosions rocked a suburb of the Syrian capital Damascus. The suburb, Jaramana is dominated by Christians and Druze, and has witnessed a series of explosions over the past several months, indicating growing sectarian rivalries in the country, which has been engulfed by a bloody, 20-month crisis.

Opposition activists say 40,000 people have been killed in the revolt against the rule of Bashar al-Assad, which started out as peaceful protests only to descend into full civil war.

The crisis has divided the international community over whether to intervene, with some advocating arming rebel groups.

For NATO, the most immediate question is whether to deploy Patriot surface-to-air missiles near Turkey's border with Syria to defend against missiles that Turkish officials worry could carry chemical weapons.

This is UFO sky phenomena is NOT fake - this is the world famous Norwegian cloud / sky spiral that took place above Norway. Even Wikipedia lists this event at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Norwegian_spiral_anomaly - The official statement is of course that it was a "failed missile launch" - but was that REALLY the case? Or is this a Project Blue Beam experiment, or perhaps even an opening of a stargate to other parallel universes and dimensions? This was witnessed by thousands, and photographed and video taped by dozens - check amazing photos of the events here https://www.google.com.ar/search?q=norway+spiral&hl=es-419&client=fir... - what do YOU think this could have been?

Persian Gulf tensions: Iranian Republic debuts new military submersible

by JewishNewsOne

Iran's state media has reported that the country's navy has launched two new Iranian-built submarines in the southern port of Bandar Abbas, as part of Tehran's efforts to upgrade its defence capabilities.

The official IRNA news agency has said the Ghadir class submarines can fire missiles and torpedoes at the same time and can operate in the Persian Gulf's shallow waters. Iran has sought to upgrade its air defence systems and naval power, believing any possible future attacks against the country will be air and sea-based.

The announcement comes shortly after reports surfaced that Iranian warships would head to Sudan's main port in what seems to be further military cooperation between the two countries after Sudan alleged Israel carried out airstrikes against a suspected storage facility for Iranian weapons.

Iran doubles Syria peace talks effort amid raging violence

by RussiaToday

The Syrian opposition based within the country is accusing Turkey of allowing foreign mercenaries access through its territory into Syria, to cause more violence. The group also warned Western and Arab states against meddling in Syrian affairs by backing certain rebel factions. Turkey, France, Britain and Persian Gulf Monarchies have given their full endorsement for a foreign-based opposition coalition, pledging them more support from abroad in their fight against the government. As the international community remains divided as to how to end the Syrian crisis, a key regional player Iran is looking to play a greater role in resolving the conflict.

Oops! Now Other Countries Have Drones

by TheYoungTurks

"The drone wars are here.

While President Obama ponders new legal and moral guidelines to govern America's growing use of armed robot aircraft, the world outside the White House is engaged in a revolutionary frenzy of building, arming and flying killer drones.

Small, inexpensive and lethal, drones enable everyone from terrorists to the Chinese People's Liberation Army to engage in what the Pentagon acknowledges is a new arms race with "alarming" consequences. More than 50 countries operate surveillance drones and, increasingly, are fitting them with weapons."*

When the U.S. was the only nation with drone power, it was easy-- the military could launch deadly strikes with little to no guidelines. Now, more than 50 other countries and alleged terrorist groups have drone technology. What will this mean for worldwide warfare and military policies? Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

Syria - Helicopter/Jet Downed (As It Happened)

by baynetna

The 2011--2012 Syrian uprising is an ongoing internal conflict in Syria, a part of the wider Arab Spring, that began in January 2011. Public demonstrations first took place on 26 January 2011, but were only a sporadic occurrence until mass protests erupted in Damascus on 15 March.[48] The situation quickly developed into a full-scale nationwide uprising, with protesters demanding the resignation of President Bashar al-Assad and the overthrow of the government. The situation in Syria is part of the Arab Spring, a wave of social upheaval throughout the Arab World demanding greater political freedom and an end to autocracy. Inspired by the successful revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt, Syrian protesters have employed the use of tactics such as marches, hunger strikes, rioting, and vandalism, in a sustained campaign of civil resistance aimed at ending nearly five decades of Ba'athist rule. The uprising was described as "unprecedented" by several political commentators

UFO Sightings Millions of American Citizens Abducted By UFOs? David M. J...

by thirdphaseofmoon

Quote From Dr. David Jacob "I have conducted over 1,000 hypnotic regressions with abductees. I have tried to be as objective and as "agenda free" as possible. I have no New Age, spiritual, religious, transformational, or transcendent program to promote. I try to stay as close to the evidence as I can. However, there is no possibility that I have avoided error. The majority of evidence for the alien abduction phenomenon is from human memory derived from hypnosis administered by amateurs. It is difficult to imagine a weaker form of evidence. But it is evidence and we have a great deal of it. Still, readers must be skeptical of what I say and of what all others say in this tangled arena of alien abductions, hypnosis, popular culture, and memory. Abduction researchers are mainly amateurs doing their best to get to the truth knowing that objective reality may elude them."
