Explosion in a trolleybus in Volgograd.
VOLGOGRAD, December 30 (RIA Novosti) – A fatal bomb explosion ripped apart a trolleybus in Russia’s southern city of Volgograd on Monday morning, in what the authorities say is the second terrorist attack in the city in the last two days.
The blast on the trolleybus, packed with morning commuters, at about 8:10 a.m. (04:10 GMT) killed 10 people and injured 15, the Investigative Committee said.
A one-year-old child is among the injured, a law enforcement source told RIA Novosti.
Video footage of the scene, near a market in the Dzerzhinsky region of the city, shown on the Rossiya-24 television channel, showed debris strewn across the street around the blackened shell off the trolleybus, its roof blown outward by the explosion. State television also said the force of the blast blew out the windows of the nearby houses.
The blast was most likely caused by an explosive device left in the vehicle’s passenger cabin, Russia’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee said.
President Vladimir Putin has been informed of the new explosion by Federal Security Service (FSB) head Alexander Bortnikov, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Russia’s Investigative Committee Spokesman Vladimir Markin said the trolleybus explosion was a terrorist attack, making it the second such incident in Volgograd in less than 24 hours.
A bomb explosion at a railway station in Volgograd on Sunday afternoon killed 17 people and injured over 40 others, in an attack the authorities said was carried out by a suicide bomber. The death toll rose to 17 from 16 overnight after another victim died from his injuries in the hospital.
The remains of the suspected bomber were discovered at the scene of the blast and will under go DNA testing for identification.
Thirty-five of the people injured in Sunday’s attack remain in the hospital, the regional Health Ministry said, some of them in serious condition.

South Korea Exposes Chinese Baby Fetus Eating Cannibals: China men eating Human Fetus Soup because they think it makes their penis larger....
Chinese Eat Baby Soup For SexSome Chinese people are known to be eating babies, and the news, which has been circulating through the internet and via email, is
shocking the world.
An email report received by the Seoul Times confirmed that news with
several vivid and appalling pictures of human embryos and fetuses being
made into a soup for human consumption.
The report went on. A town in the southern province of Canton
(Guangdong) is now in focus. Chinese folks there are enjoying baby
herbal soup to increase overall health and stamina and the power of
sexual performance in particular.
This time, a couple who already has two daughters decided to abort
the child after receiving confirmation that it was another girl. The
baby was already five months old.
Those babies who are close to be born and die naturally cost 2000 in
China Currency. Those aborted ones cost a few hundreds in China
Currency.
Those couples who did not want to sell dead babies, placentas can be accepted also for couple of hundreds.
One local reporter was quoted as saying that this is the problem
arising from Chinese taking too much attention in health or is the
backfire effect when China introduced one child in a family policy.
This heinous crime rise from the fact that majority of Chinese people
prefer to have male babies and the poor families end up selling their
female babies.
Dead babies can be purchased in Taiwan for 70 US dollars for being used as grilled delicacies.
You have to be kidding right? Unfortunately this is really happening!
The NEXT magazine, a weekly publication from Hong Kong, reported that
infant corpses and fetuses have become the newest supplements for
health and beauty in China. Not only is the placenta considered a beauty
remedy, but also aborted fetuses are much sought after delicacies. In
Guangdong, gourmet body parts are in high demand and can even be
purchased through hospitals. The magazine’s investigations into this
form of cannibalism took them to Liaoning province.
According to The Next Magazine, during a banquet hosted by a
Taiwanese businessman, servant Ms Lui from Liaoning province on the
mainland inadvertently revealed the habit of eating infants/fetuses in
Liaoning province and her intention to return for the supplement due to
health concerns. The Taiwanese women present were horrified.
Ms Liu also disclosed that even though people can afford the human
parts there are still waiting lists and those with the right connections
get the “highest quality” human parts, which translates to the more
mature fetuses. A male fetus is considered the “prime” human part.
At the The Next Magazine’s request, Ms Liu personally escorted the
reporter to a location where a fetus was being prepared. The reporter
observed a woman chopping up a male fetus and making soup from the
placenta. During the process, the woman even tried to comfort everyone
by saying, “Don’t be afraid, this is just the flesh of a higher animal.”
The boy’s remains were cremated in the mountain in accordance with customs of the region.
In fact, in China, reports about meals made from infant flesh have
surfaced from time to time. A video is on the internet for people to
view. In the introduction, the Chinese clain that eating a human fetus
is an art form.
On March 22, 2003, police in Bingyan, Guangxi Province seized 28
female babies smuggled in a truck from Yulin, Guangxi Province going to
Houzhou in Anhui Province. The oldest baby was only 3 months old. The
babies were packed three or four to a bag and many of them were near
death none were claimed by their parents.
On the morning of Oct 9, 2004, a person rifling through the garbage
on the outskirts of Jiuquan city in the Suzhou region, found dismembered
babies in a dumpster. There were two heads, two torsos, four arms, and
six legs. According to the investigation, these corpses were no more
than week old and they had been dismembered after cooking.
Although China has laws that prohibit the eating of human fetus, the
regime’s force abortions to ensure the one child policy is strictly
adhered to thereby creating many opportunities for these sorts of
atrocities to occur.
What would make people do such a thing without any fear of
condemnation? Since Mao’s Cultural Revolution, a complete lack of
morality and respect for human life has become the norm in China. Over
time, domination by the Chinese Communist regime has led to inhuman
behavior and human rights violations resulting in abnormal practices
such as cannibalism.South

jail officer beats inmate to death. Faces trial.
Raleigh, N.C. — A Wake County detention officer charged with causing an inmate’s death said in court Wednesday he felt the prisoner was a threat and needed to be subdued.
Shon Demetrius McClain, 40, died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck 13 days after prosecutors say he got into a fight with Officer Markeith Council.
Council, a detention officer at the jail since 2009, is charged with voluntary manslaughter in the case. The defense rested Wednesday, and the jury began deliberation shortly before 4 p.m.
Testifying on his own behalf, Council recalled the night he got into an altercation with McClain. Council said he was the only officer in the cell block with 55 inmates when McClain started arguing with him.
Council had been passing out sheets to the inmates when McClain accused him of nearly slamming his hand in the cell door.
“He talked about how we had too much power,” Council said. “Other inmates were egging him on. I told him not to listen.”
About 15 or 20 minutes later, Council said, inmates were out of their cells when a combative McClain approached him again.
“I’m telling him that he needs to back up,” Council testified. “Again, I’m telling him don’t let his friends get him in trouble. You could hear these guys saying something to him.”
Council said within moments McClain struck him in the jaw, and they began to tussle. The officer tried to handcuff him while keeping an eye on the crowd.
“I’ve got to get him off of me and get him secured,” Council said. “I’m worried about what is going on around me. Your mind shuts down and you go to what you know, which is your training.”
Council said he didn’t have time to use pepper spray. He called on all available officers and a nurse, and put the block on lockdown.
McClain – who had been in custody since May 28 on misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and consuming malt beverage on public property – was taken to WakeMed, where he remained on life support until his death on June 17.
Council, who has three children and a baby on the way, said his career goal is to become a prison warden. His wife is a Raleigh police officer.
He said he didn’t know McClain prior to that night and “didn’t have a problem” with him.
During testimony Tuesday, other inmates said that McClain – who was 5 feet 7 inches tall and 119 pounds – was helpless once he was pinned by the bigger officer. Jurors were shown security video that showed Council slamming McClain to the ground twice.
During his cross-examination Wednesday, Wake County District Attorney Colon Willoughby focused on the physical differences between the men. Council weighs 290 pounds and played football in college.
Willoughby asked Council whether he considered subduing McClain by sitting on him, rather than slamming him to the ground.
"Why did you throw him down the second time?" the prosecutor asked. "You know that at that point, throwing him down was going to hurt him."
Council replied: "I didn't think to hurt him. I was thinking about getting him off of me."

Fans seriously injured after violence halts Brazilian league match (different footage)
A Brazilian league match between Atlético Paranaense and Vasco da Gama was stopped for more than an hour on Sunday after fans started fighting in the stands and a helicopter had to land on the pitch to airlift a seriously injured man to hospital.
Fan violence has been rampant in Brazil this year, raising concerns for the World Cup finals in June. "This is deplorable," said the Vasco coach, Adilson Batista. "It's sad to see images like these just before the World Cup in our country. I'm shocked. This is not sport."
A doctor said two other fans were in serious condition and one was treated for a minor injury at the stadium in the southern city of Joinville.
Supporters from Paranaense and Vasco charged each other until police arrived and fired rubber bullets. Television images showed players yelling at the fans and telling them to calm down. Some players put their hands on their heads as they watched the fight. A few fans tried to leave the stands to find safety, including a young woman. A ball girl was shown crying.

"We tried to tell the fans to stop because things would only get worse. We looked at the stands and there were no cops. There was nobody there to stop the fighting," said the Paranaense defender Luiz Alberto, who was shown crying profusely as the altercation was taking place. "I'm playing for 20 years and I've never seen anything like this in person. We will have a World Cup in our country and we know these images will be shown everywhere."

According to the source, the executors are members of "Ansar al-Sharia". The date is unknown and location also. It might be the desert of Sirte, that's what I got from the comments.
Ansar al-Sharia was formed during the Libyan civil war and rose to prominence after the assassination of Muammar Gaddafi.
They are also responsible for the 2012 U.S. Consulate attack in Benghazi, that killed the US ambassador in Libya.

China DF 21D missile test in Gobi
Published on Dec 2, 2013
Anti-ship missiles are guided
missiles that are designed for use against ships and large boats. Most
anti-ship missiles are of the sea skimming variety, and many use a
combination of inertial guidance
and radar homing. A good number of other anti-ship missiles use
infrared homing to follow the heat that is emitted by a ship; it is also
possible for anti-ship missiles to be guided by radio command all the
way.
The first anti-ship missiles, which were developed and built by Nazi Germany, used radio command guidance, these saw some success in the Mediterranean Theater in 1943 - 44, sinking or heavily damaging at least 31 ships with the Henschel Hs 293 and more than seven with the Fritz X, such as the Italian battleship Roma or the cruiser USS Savannah. A variant of the HS 293 had a TV transmitter on board. The bomber carrying it could then fly outside the range of naval AA guns and use TV guidance to lead the missile to its target by radio control.
Many anti-ship missiles can be launched from a variety of weapons systems including surface warships (they can then be referred to as ship-to-ship missiles), submarines, bombers, fighter planes, patrol planes, helicopters, shore batteries, land vehicles, and conceivably, even by infantrymen firing shoulder-launched missiles.
A typical acronym for the phrase "anti-ship missile" is ASM, but AShM can also be used to avoid confusion with air-to-surface missiles, anti-submarine missiles, and anti-satellite missiles.
The Dong-Feng 21 (DF-21; NATO reporting name CSS-5 - Dong-Feng (Chinese: 东风; literally "East Wind") is a two-stage, solid-propellant, single-warhead medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) in the Dong Feng series developed by China Changfeng Mechanics and Electronics Technology Academy. Development started in the late 1960s and was completed around 1985-86, but it was not deployed until 1991. It was developed from the submarine-launched JL-1 missile, and is China's first solid-fuel land-based missile. The U.S. Department of Defense in 2008 estimated that China had 60-80 missiles and 60 launchers.[7]
Originally developed as a strategic weapon, the DF-21's later variants were designed for both nuclear and conventional missions. As well as a nuclear warhead of around 300 kt, it is thought that high explosive, submunition and chemical warheads are available. The latest DF-21D was said to be the world's first anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM). The DF-21 has also been developed into a space-capable anti-satellite/anti-missile weapon carrier.
Though the launcher itself is road mobile, an actual launch requires support vehicles and a specially prepared launch platform to prevent backblast damage due to the hard launch.[8]
DF-21 (CSS-5 Mod-1)[edit]
The basic variant DF 21 has a range of 1,770+ km,[3] and a payload of 600 kg. The missile can carry a single 500 kt nuclear warhead, with an estimated CEP of 300~400 m. This version did not enter operational service.[6]
DF-21A (CSS-5 Mod-2)[edit]
The DF-21A was operational by 1996 and has improved accuracy with an estimated circular error probable (CEP) of 100~300m, with both GPS and a radar-based terminal guidance system in a redesigned nose.[6] This version is reported to have a similar range of 1,770+ km.[3]
DF-21C (CSS-5 Mod-3)[edit]
Revealed in 2006, DF-21C is believed to be a mod of DF-21. Its actual designation is unknown; it may be a version of the DF-25 missile. Its maximum range is believed to be about 1,700 kilometres (1,100 mi).[4] The new GPS-based guidance system has reduced the missile's CEP to 30~40m, enabling it for precision-strike missions.[6]
China has reportedly developed and tested the world's first anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) called DF-21D, with a maximum range exceeding 1,450 kilometres (900 mi), according to the U.S. National Air and Space Intelligence Center. The Intelligence Center did not believe it was deployed in 2009.[4] The guidance system is thought to be still in an evolutionary process as more UAV and satellites are added.[10] The DF-21 anti-ship ballistic missile itself is assumed to have entered active service by 2009.[11][12]
The US Department of Defense has stated that China has developed and reached initial operating capability [13] of a conventionally armed[14] high hypersonic[15] land-based anti-ship ballistic missile based on the DF-21. This would be the world's first ASBM and the world's first weapons system capable of targeting a moving aircraft carrier strike group from long-range, land-based mobile launchers.[16][17] [18] These would combine maneuverable reentry vehicles (MaRVs) with some kind of terminal guidance system. Such a missile may have been tested in 2005-6, and the launch of the Jianbing-5/YaoGan-1 and Jianbing-6/YaoGan-2 satellites would give th Chinese targeting information from SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) and visual imaging respectively
