NATO kills 20 Afghan police and 18 civilians in the northeast of the country

NATO has been busy killing civilians this weekend and in their fog of blood bodycount is now at 32 civilians in two days. Just admit you`ve lost and get out of there.

Sunday, May 29 – According to an Afghan provincial governor, friendly fire by international forces have killed at least 20 Afghan police forces and 18 civilians following air strikes against insurgents in the northeast of the country.

According to officials, the incident took place on Wednesday which killed 20 police forces and 18 civilians. The policemen and the civilians were killed by the US led air strikes assuming they are the militants.

Heavy clashes between Afghan forces and Taliban have been witnessed in Nuristan province last week.
Jamaluddin Badar said, the policemen were killed due to friendly fire. The air strike in the troubled district of Do Ab targeted a location that the officers “had just” taken from the insurgents during fighting.

The governor further added, the civilians were killed because the insurgents had fled into civilians houses after they had finished their ammunition and could not resist against the Afghan and foreign forces. The civilians were mistakenly assumed as insurgents and were targeted by the air strikes.

The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said it was investigating the allegations.source
