British Army Apaches in Action Over Libya (Full video from MOD)

6 August 2011: Gun camera footage from British Army Apache attack helicopters involved in a strike on a military communications facility and troop concentration at Al-Watiya in western Libya. UK missions over Libya are undertaken as part of NATO's Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR, to enforce UNSCR 1973 and protect Libyan civilians at risk of attack.

Slate 1: An attack on a military communications facility.

Slate 2: A Hellfire missile is used to destroy one of the former regime's pick-up trucks which was armed with a surface-to-air weapon system.

Slate 3: Hellfire missiles and cannon fire are used to destroy a number of military pick-up trucks; Pro-Gaddafi forces seen fleeing the scene.
