Iran marks Air Defense Day in Tehran

After the end of the 16th Non-Aligned Movement Summit which was held in Tehran, Iran's Army Air Defense Commander held a conference in Tehran marking and honoring Iran's Air Defense Force, IRIAF.

In attendance were 32 military attaches from countries such Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, Russia, Indonesia, North Korea and China.

Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili, who's also the Commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base explained the base was established by Iran's Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei who is also Iran's Commander-in-Chief, back in 2008.
