An Atlas V 401 rocket successfully launched in March 2013 from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral. On-board is the SBIRS GEO-2 satellite for the United States Airforce. The satellite is for providing; 'world-wide global persistent Infra Red surveillance' (06:11+)
This was the 36th Atlas V launch since the inaugural launch 2002.
